Air Plants or Tillandsia have captured the interest of plant lovers for quite some time. Found in nature growing on other plants, these guys do not need to be planted! They can rest on your desk or coffee table. They need bright, filtered light and to be fully submerged in a bowl of water every 3 weeks to once a month. In between, a light misting can go a long way! Dry your tillandsia by putting upside down on a paper towel before placing back in it's home. The quickest way to kill your air plant is by letting the base rot from too much moisture. So be sure to let it dry out!
